Representative Images

It is good to have a collection of hi-resolution images that represent your target audience.

These images will be used on your marketing materials such as website, landing pages, advertisements, blog posts, articles, social marketing posts, and email marketing.

It is advised that each image used should invoke an emotional response by the viewer, and should be an image that your audience identifies with.

The term used for this type of imagery is Stock Image.  Although purchasing images can be an expensive activity, there are a number of very good websites that offer free stock images.

Unsplash- Dedicated to sharing copyright-free photography under the Unsplash license. The website claims over 70,000 contributing photographers and generates more than 5 billion photo impressions per month on their growing library of over 509,000 photos

Pixabay- An international website for sharing high-quality public domain photos, illustrations, vector graphics, and film footage. As of November 2017, Pixabay offers over 1,188,454 free photos, illustrations, and vectors and videos

Pexels - Provides high quality and completely free stock photos licensed under the Pexels license. All photos are nicely tagged, searchable and also easy to discover through our discover pages.

Shutterstock - Search millions of royalty free stock photos, pictures, and videos. Get inspired by ten thousand new, high-resolution images added daily.

Your audience should be able to 'see themselves' in the images they see in on your website, landing pages, marketing materials, emails, etc.
